Countertops work as a system. We plan undermount sink cutouts, faucet and accessory holes, island overhangs, seam locations, and the relationship between the perimeter and island before fabrication.

Backsplash may be a traditional 4-inch piece or a full-height stone installation. Edge options include pencil, 1/4 round, full bullnose, mitered, and other customer-selected profiles when the material and project conditions support them. A free sink may be available where applicable.

Before template and installation, cabinets must be adequately level, secured, and structurally ready for stone. Small field conditions can often be identified and addressed with an appropriate practical method. Cabinets that are materially outside installation tolerance should be corrected before the countertop is installed.

We explain the condition and the options clearly. If a qualified cabinet or trade professional is needed, you may use your own provider or ask Backup Services to help coordinate one. Countertop installation should not be used to hide or permanently correct severely misaligned cabinetry.

Material Selection → Template → Fabrication → Installation. During template we confirm field measurements, cutouts, overhangs, backsplash dimensions, seams, access, and final layout conditions.

Once the slab is in our possession, most standard projects move through fabrication and installation in approximately 3–5 business days, depending on project conditions. The schedule is confirmed after template and material availability.

Projects may include new countertops, cabinet-replacement coordination, islands, vanity tops, full-height backsplash, and removal of an existing surface when included in the approved scope.
