Quartz offers consistent color, broad design options, and low-maintenance indoor performance without routine sealing. Quartzite provides premium natural movement, while Granite offers durable natural character across a wide range of colors and budgets.

For natural stone, the actual slab should be reviewed for movement, fissures, usable area, and maintenance. Under Backup Services’ service approach, Granite and Quartzite are generally resealed approximately every two years; Quartz normally does not require routine sealing.

Sink model, faucet placement, accessory holes, cabinet construction, and plumbing clearances should be confirmed before the stone is cut. Vessel sinks and undermount sinks create different cutout, reveal, and cleaning considerations.

Backsplash height should be planned with outlets, mirrors, side walls, window trim, and faucet clearance in mind. Wall conditions and out-of-square corners are captured during template so the final pieces can be fabricated for the actual room.

Edge choices may include pencil, 1/4 round, full bullnose, mitered, and other profiles when the material and project conditions support them. The right edge should work with the cabinet style, sink, thickness, cleaning preferences, and the visual weight of the room.

After the vanity cabinet is installed, secured, and appropriately level, template confirms dimensions, walls, cutouts, faucet positions, backsplash, overhangs, access, and final design details. Fabrication then follows the approved layout.

Most standard projects move through fabrication and installation in approximately 3–5 business days after the slab is in Backup Services’ possession, subject to material, access, and project conditions. Workmanship is backed by a one-year warranty.
